Hi, I'm Carolina, mother to my beautiful 8 year old son, stepmother to 2 fabulous daughters, Primary School Teacher and Parent Coach.
When my son turned three, I hardly recognised him. The tantrums and defiance threw me off, and despite my 20 years of experience working with young children, I found myself questioning everything. I thought I should know better—but I didn’t.
We had also recently moved to Melbourne, and without my family and friends, I felt so isolated, trying to figure it all out on my own.

A playgroup program designed to help parents just like you feel supported, connected, and confident again.
This isn’t just another playgroup.
It’s a local community where you’ll feel safe to connect with your child and other like-minded parents, whilst getting real guidance on how to navigate the rollercoaster of raising a preschooler. Plus, the program is facilitated by me—an experienced educator and parent coach—who understands both the challenges and the joys of this phase of parenthood.

1. Be Connected - Facilitated Playgroup
Relax, chat over coffee, and connect with other local parents while your child engages in structured play. Each session includes support on a key parenting challenge like handling tantrums or improving cooperation, leaving you with practical tools to use at home. In addition, you get access to a private online Facebook Group with relevant resources and continuous parenting support.
Outcomes:
- Gain confidence in managing your child’s challenging behaviours, through direct support from a Certified Parent Coach and experienced Educator.
- Feel connected to other local parents who understand your experiences.
- Strengthen your bond with your child through play and guided activities.
- Join a supportive, local community of mums.
2. Be Empowered- Group Coaching
In addition to the weekly Playgroup sessions, you will join weekly group coaching calls held on Zoom, where we will dive deeper into the parenting strategies covered in Playgroup. These sessions address specific challenges to help you create real changes in your home life.
Outcomes:
- Increase cooperation and reduce power struggles.
- Feel more in control and calm in your responses.
- Create smoother routines that work for your family.
- Get coaching and support on individual challenges to help you successfully overcome them.
3. Be Transformed - Individual Coaching.
This is an additional option to the PLAY CONNECT PROGRAM, for those wanting more personalised support to tackle specific parenting challenges. Through 1:1 coaching, you’ll gain clarity on your personal triggers and make lasting shifts to parent with peace and confidence.
Outcomes:
- Address deep-rooted challenges for lasting change.
- Strengthen your parent-child bond with lasting harmony.
- Align your parenting approach with your values.

This program is designed for parents of preschool age children (3-5 years old), who are navigating the changes that come with this age and looking for a supportive, local community. If you have been searching for a place where you can learn, grow and empower yourself about how to best raise your child, or if you simply want to be part of a trusted community of like minded parents, this program is for you. It is also a great resource for helping you and your child navigate school readiness.
What should I expect if I join the Playgroup?
The aim of the Playgroup is to create a long lasting community of like minded parents with Preschool age children, who can bond, form connections whilst learning tools and strategies around parenting with more peace and connection. The playgroup sessions will have planned activities to help your child prepare for school, and there will be an informative element for parents which will focus on a particular area of parenting. You will be given some key take aways to practice at home, and you will be invited to join a separate Group Coaching Call which supports you in successfully implementing and understanding the material.
Can I join half way through a program?
Because I want everyone to feel safe and to grow together as a cohort, it will not be possible to join midway through a program. In case you missed the start, simply register your interest and you will automatically be enrolled in the next cohort.
