When my son turned three, I hardly recognised him. The tantrums and defiance threw me off, and despite my 20 years of experience working with young children, I found myself questioning everything. I thought I should know better—but I didn’t.
We had also recently moved to Melbourne, and without my family and friends, I felt so isolated, trying to figure it all out on my own.
Over the last few years, I have been on a journey to change all that. To provide parents of young children with the support that they need to help them navigate these challenges successfully and to reassure them that they are in fact, not alone.

Our fortnightly group coaching calls are where we slow things down and go deeper — beyond tips and tricks — into the why behind your child’s behaviour and your own responses.

Where are the Emotion Explorers Sessions held?
Emotion Explorers will run on a weekly basis on Thursdays and Fridays during the school terms, from 10:00-11:30 at Sherbourne Primary School, Briar Hill.
Who is the Playgroup for?
This program is designed for parents of preschool age children (3-5 years old), who are navigating the changes that come with this age and looking for a supportive, local community. If you have been searching for a place where you can learn, grow and empower yourself about how to best raise your child, or if you simply want to be part of a trusted community of like minded parents, this program is for you. It is also a great resource for helping you and your child navigate school readiness.
What should I expect if I join the Program?
The aim of the Program is to create a long lasting community of like minded parents with Preschool age children, who can bond, form connections whilst learning tools and strategies around parenting with more peace and connection. The Emotion Explorer sessions will have planned activities to help you and your child navigate big emotions effectively, prepare for school and more. You will also be given some key take aways to practice at home, and you will be invited to join a separate Group Coaching Call which supports you in successfully implementing and understanding the material. A private Facebook Group will also be set up for you, where you will get access to bonus material, a platform with ongoing support from myself, other experts down the line, and of course other like minded parents.
Can I join half way through a program?
Because I want everyone to feel safe and to grow together as a cohort, it will not be possible to join midway through a program. Contact me and I will add you to the next cohort that suits you.
